TAKING A VACATION

TAKING A VACATION

lita and I leave this Saturday, "God willing and the creek don't rise" – as Hank Williams was fond of saying. Sojourn. routeWe will be on the Seabourn Sojourn. This is the second of the line's new class of ships. She  was built in Italy and launched in 2010. This ship is 650 feet long and has capacity for 450 passengers. All of the rooms are ocean view and most with balconies. There are 330 crew members and 225 cabins with eight passenger decks. There are four places to eat along with room service. The ship is first class in every way.

We fly to Paris and from there on to Barcelona Spain. We depart on the 13th stopping in ports in Spain, France, Italy and finally Greece. We fly from Athens home on may 22nd. There are nine stops on this cruise and they include St Tropez France, Corsica, SojornSorrento Italy and Mykonos Greece.

We have sailed on the the Seabourn line many times and have enjoyed each cruise on these small luxury ships with excellent food and service.

I will try to keep a travel log, but keeping this blog updated may be challenge. Thanks for all of you who expressed good wishes on our retirement from the practice of law.
