REPORTING IN

REPORTING IN

For the past several weeks  my partners and I have been involved in a jury trial in Seattle which  has limited my time to keep this blog current. I hope to get back into current reporting as soon as the trial ends.

Gig harborIn the meantime, coming home to Gig Harbor on weekends has been a pleasure. The leaves turned to that wonderful Fall color and then the November winds virtually stripped the trees of their foliage. Today the harbor in town is like a lake it is so calm. Earlier, while running errands, the sun was out and there was a wonderful reflection in the harbor from the purse seine boats tied to the docks and the other numerous boats in the harbor. This is a very scenic town to live in and reminds me of the town where I was born and grew up, Anacortes. Compared to the size of Anacortes today, however, Gig Harbor seems like a very small fishing village. Getting to Gig Harbor from Seattle, where Lita and I work, is often an ordeal from I-5 traffic, but once we are here it is a haven. The view of the Narrows passage from our house looking over at Vashon island is relaxing and something I never tire over. I feel blessed we live in this beautiful state and at this particular place.
